Dr. Parmod Kumar Julka is a globally renowned medical educationist, author, and hematologist in Delhi. At present, he is the Director-Oncology, and Vice chairman at Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi. He is well-known for performing India’s first Peripheral Blood Stem Cell transplant following high-dose chemotherapy for Metastatic Breast Cancer on May 9, 1995. He did his M.D. in Radiotherapy and Oncology at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. Later he completed his FAMS or Fellow of the National Academy of Medical Sciences. He has also received advanced training at  M. D. Anderson Hospital, Houston, Texas, under a World Health Organization fellowship and at Long Beach Memorial Cancer Centre, Long Beach, California.

Dr. Parmod Kumar Julka has more than 45 years of experience in the field of hemato-oncology. He is area of interest is quite broad and encompasses topics like oncology, blood cancer, breast cancer, gynecologic oncology, gastrointestinal oncology, hemato-oncology, urology oncology, skin cancer, musculoskeletal oncology, head and neck oncology, and many more.

The government of India also appointed Dr. Pramod to inspect the cancer centers of India. Later, he wrote a book named Becoming A Successful Clinical Trial Investigator. He has also published more than 250 articles for national and international peer-reviewed journals among which 184 are listed on ResearchGate. Apart from this, Dr. Parmod Kumar Julka has also worked as a Dean of academics and Professor at the Department of Radiotherapy and Oncology at All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. He was also the former Chairperson of ICRO or Indian College of Radiation Oncology between 2000-2009 and former president of AROI or Association of Radiation Oncologists of India. Not only that, due to his outstanding performance and excellent career graph he has become the best blood cancer doctor in Delhi.
