After achieving his degree, in year 2006, he did a 6-week attachment with Dr Ashutosh Tiwari in the field of Robotic Prostatectomy at the Weill Cornell Medical Center, New York. Dr. Aditya Predhan did a 2-week attachment at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Brady Urology Center, Baltimore with Dr Patrick Walsh and Dr Arthur Burnett in the field of prostatectomy in 2006.
Dr. Aditya Pradhan is presently working as a Senior Consultant in the Urology Department at BLK Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi. He has been a consultant in Urology at the prestigious Army Hospital R&R, New Delhi. He was also a consultant in Urology at the Military Hospital in Jalandhar, Punjab. He started the Endourology and Laparoscopic Urology program for this center. He has been a consultant in Urology at the Command Hospital, Lucknow, UP.
Dr. Pradhan took the initiative and set up the Renal Transplant Programme at the center. He successfully conducted 20 renal transplants in 2006-07. He was awarded the Chief of Army Staff Commendation card as a token of appreciation. He was a part of 2 large mass casualty operations in aid to the civil establishment of Pithoragarh District in Uttarakhand. He was awarded the Central Army Commander’s Commendation Card for these operations in 1995.
He was awarded the Christian Medical College Ludhiana Prize for the best poster presentation at the Annual Conference of the North Zone Chapter of the Urology Society of India in the year 2001. He received the same in 2002. Dr. Pradhan has Memberships with the Urological Society of India, the American Urological Association, the Indian Society of Organ Transplant, and the International Endo-Urology Society.
