Dr. Rohit Udaya Prasad is a top ENT specialist in India with more than 16 years of experience as a specialist in this field. He is currently the lead and senior consultant of ENT and cochlear implants at Aster RV Hospital in India. With more than 16 years of expertise in the field, Dr. Rohit has worked hard to hold his position as one of the most recommended doctors for his work in cochlear implant surgery. Dr. Rohit completed his MBBS from M. S. Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore in 2010 and went on to pursue his MS in ENT from Pt. Jawahar Lal Memorial Medical College in 2014. His dedication and hard work led him to practice advanced training in cochlear implant surgery under the mentorship of Padmashri Prof. Dr. J.M. Hans at Dr. Hans Centre for ENT Hearing Care and Vertigo, where he trained for four years until 2016.

With expertise in cochlear implant surgery, micro-ear surgery, skull base surgery, rhinology, otology, microlaryngeal surgery, head and neck surgery, and paediatric ENT surgery, Dr. Rohit has become the go-to surgeon for ENT surgeries in India.

He has attended advanced training programmes in cochlear implant surgery, including workshops in Innsbruck, Austria; Jakarta, Indonesia; and Sydney, Australia. He contributed to the Bal Shravan Yojna initiative by the government of Chhattisgarh, which provided cochlear implant surgeries for children below the poverty line, and he was also involved in the ADIP scheme and the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, both of which support free cochlear Implant surgeries for children.
