Dr. Giriraj Bora is a leading name in the field of Liver Transplants in India. Dr. Bora graduated from J L N Medical College in Ajmer. He completed his training in General Surgery at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow. Then he joined the same institute as a Senior Resident in G I Surgery. Dr. Giriraj also attended the M Ch super-speciality program in GI Surgery at the G B Pant Hospital, New Delhi. He then completed a three-year training program there.

Right after completing his training, Dr. Bora was employed in Jaipur as a Consultant GI Surgeon till he decided to pursue his passion for liver transplantation. He underwent in-depth training in all facets of liver transplantation and HPB surgery after joining CLBS in 2011 as a Fellow in Liver Transplant/HPB Surgery.
