Op. Dr. Baha Toygar: Experienced Eye Disease Specialist in Turkey

Op. Dr. Baha Toygar is a highly experienced Eye disease specialist in Turkey with over 25 years of clinical and surgical experience at some of the best ophthalmology hospitals in Turkey. He currently works as a specialist at Dünyagöz Hospital, where he is recognised for his comprehensive eye care services among his patients.

He graduated from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology specialization at Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Research Hospital. Throughout his career, Dr. Toygar has performed more than 30,000 eye surgeries, specialising in advanced procedures such as LASIK, ReLEx SMILE, and cataract surgery with multifocal lens implants.

Dr. Toygar is also a certified international instructor for intracorneal rings and phakic intraocular lenses, sharing his knowledge world wide through training and educational programs. He has also served as a moderator at the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons Satellite Symposium. On a regional level, he has also co-founded and currently serves as the General Secretary of the Black Sea Countries Ophthalmological Society.

Dr. Toygar is a member of a number of esteemed organisations including the Turkish Society of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the ESCRS, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the Turkish Medical Association. He also actively participates in the TOD Cataract and Refractive Surgery Department. Fluent in English, Dr. Toygar continues to advance in the field of ophthalmology through his practice, surgical techniques, and international collaboration.
