Prof. Dr. Safiye Yılmaz - Best Cataract Surgeon in Izmir

Prof. Dr. Safiye Yılmaz, the best cataract surgeon in Izmir, was born in Manisa, Turkey, in 1973. Bornova Anatolian High School is considered among Izmir's finest, and she went there. She enrolled in the medical school at Ege University in 1991. In 1991, she received an exceptional degree from Ege University. Beginning her career in 1997 as Chief Assistant, she rose to Associate Professor and specialist ophthalmologist at Izmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. She was promoted to professor in 2014 after being named associate professor in 2009 at the Izmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. 

An ophthalmologist with 24 years of expertise, Prof. Dr. Safiye Yılmaz, a glaucoma surgeon in Izmir, has been featured in several international journals and specializes in corneal transplants and lenses. From 2004 until 2014, she served as president of the Private Atagöz Health Hospital Management Institution and a board of directors member for the Private Atagöz Eye Diseases Branch Center.
