With more than 41 years of experience in her wake, Op. Dr. Selma Kaşkaloğlu is one of the best optometrist in Izmir. Along with her husband, she established the first of its kind eye hospital in Izmir, known as Kaşkaloğlu Hospital, and has a special interest in providing treatments for laser thermal keratoplasty, astigmatism, and more.

She graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in Izmir, Turkey, in 1984 and furthered her specialisation in ophthalmology in Ege University’s eye clinic in 1984. After completing her studies, she practiced in Alsancak, Izmir, to refine her expertise and provide the best possible service to her patients.

In 2000, she and her husband founded Kaşkaloğlu Eye Hospital, the first eye hospital of its kind in Izmir. The hospital was opened with the vision of providing high-quality treatment to every patient and helping them see the world clearly once more.
