Dr. Mehmethan Doğan, the best cataract surgeon in Turkey, received his degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Gazi University in 2011, achieving the highest ranking. After attaining the fifth-place ranking in Turkey on the Medical Specialization Examination (TUS) in 2011, he began his specialist studies in ophthalmology at the Ankara Ulucanlar Eye Studies and Research Hospital. 2016 was the year that he successfully finished his Specialization Training with the thesis he had written on the treatment of Keratoconus and Crosslink.

As part of his mandatory military duty, he worked in the province of Van during the 2017-2018 academic year and at the Elazığ City Hospital during the 2018-2019 academic year. She was employed as a glaucoma surgeon in Izmir at a reputable hospital. Among the best rated cataract surgeons, several of his papers have been published in local and foreign magazines.
